Tamiya 1:10 RC Toyota Supra (JZA80) BT-01 2WD

The 2WD BT-01 is a new generation chassis from Tamiya, offering enthusiasts the choice of FF/MR/FR drive systems based on the actual vehicle's drive system. The first version of the BT-01 is the fourth generation Toyota Supra (JZA80), which was announced in 1993 as Toyota's flagship sports car. The top-of-the-range RZ model featured a 3-liter inline-six twin-turbo engine with 280 hp, 6-gearbox, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension and ventilated disc brakes front and rear. The muscular shape and class-leading performance captivated fans around the world and achieved success in motorsport.

About the BT-01 Chassis:
The 2WD BT-01 chassis offers the choice of two types of wheelbases and a front or rear wheel drive system. Without removing the battery, motor and R/C equipment from the center frame, simply change the orientation of the axle gears and steering linkage to switch between front and rear wheel drive. For rear wheel drive vehicles, the motor position can be selected at the front (FR) or midships at the rear (MR). The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features a symmetrical structure with friction dampers. Unified sections such as motor mount, axle gear and suspension facilitate assembly and effective maintenance.
